    Voice Communication

    Voice communication refers to the wireless transmission of acoustic – typically spoken – information. This can be carried out using handheld or mobile radio terminals, as well as fixed base stations. Common types of voice communication are BOS radio, private mobile radio, train radio, amateur radio and many others.

    In addition to traditional analog technologies, modern digital standards such as TETRA and DMR are increasingly being used to enhance performance and reliability.
