SISS at INTERSCHUTZ 2026 in Hanover

INTERSCHUTZ is regarded as the world’s leading trade fair for fire protection, rescue services, and civil protection and is held every five years. Under the motto “Safeguarding tomorrow.”, it will bring together leading companies, organizations, and authorities involved in non-police emergency response from June 1 to 6, 2026, at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds. STRABAG Infrastructure & Safety Solutions will once again be participating as an exhibitor.

Opening to traffic of the new Karawanken Tunnel tube

On March 20, 2026, the official opening to traffic of the new tube of the A11 Karawanken Tunnel took place, connecting Slovenia and Austria. STRABAG Infrastructure & Safety Solutions made a significant contribution to the completion of the project.

Ceremonial Opening of the S7 Fürstenfeld Expressway

In May 2022, SISS was awarded the contract for the electromechanical equipment of the newly built S7 Fürstenfeld expressway. On September 19, 2025, the entire 28-kilometer route was officially opened to traffic.
